Fall Class Assignment Trackers

Hello Everyone,

I just found out I have ADHD(I had suspicions but I wasn’t sure) I have a habit of starting an assignment for one class and then opening another before I finish the first one, I also have difficulties staying focused especially during lectures. When I have conversations with people they have to be short because my attention span is really short. I also have a habit of fidgeting and doodling when people are talking and not on purpose. I change subjects. Another struggle is that I have been forgetting a lot recently I keep my planners, notebooks and laptop full of sticky notes so I don’t forget. As a full time online student this is a huge struggle for me and it’s hard because my family doesn’t understand. I’ve been trying to juggle school and the fact that I have fibroids, major anxiety and trying to manage my emotions. With this being said even though I’ve been going through a lot

📚I’m prepping for my last semester before I graduate.👩🏽‍🎓

I try to stay as organized and focused as possible. I created an assignment tracker to help me keep track of all assignments and make sure I turn them in on time.

I used Excel to create it.📈❤️ is there anyone else struggling with ADHD while in school? I want to know how you get through it? Comment below🥰#emergingcreator #letschat #studywithme#adhd #Lemon8Diary

... Read moreManaging school responsibilities while living with ADHD can be quite overwhelming, especially if you are a full-time online student. I've personally found that creating and consistently using an assignment tracker in Excel makes a significant difference in handling multiple deadlines and subjects. This tool allows you to break down tasks into manageable steps and visually track your progress, which helps in overcoming the tendency to jump between projects. In addition to digital trackers, combining physical organization methods such as sticky notes or color-coded planners can reinforce memory and reduce forgetfulness. When lectures get long or attention wanes, taking short mindful breaks or practicing fidget-friendly activities like doodling intentionally can channel restlessness without losing focus. It's also important to communicate your needs with family or peers, as understanding and support can alleviate emotional strain. Anxiety and health challenges like fibroids add complexity, so adopting a self-compassionate mindset and prioritizing wellness are key. For those struggling with attention during online courses, setting up a distraction-free environment and using timers for focused work sessions have been game-changers. Lastly, connecting with others facing similar challenges through forums or social media groups (#adhd, #studywithme) provides encouragement and new coping strategies. Remember, your unique approach to managing assignments is valid—customizing your tools and habits around your attention patterns ultimately leads to greater academic success and personal satisfaction.
