When I started following this 7-day full body gym routine, the structured approach made a huge difference in my progress. The split between push, pull, and legs + glutes days allowed me to focus on muscle groups with greater intensity while also giving proper recovery time. For example, the push days target chest, shoulders, and triceps with heavy compound movements like barbell bench press and overhead press first, which helped me build strength efficiently. I found that alternating leg days with a strength bias (Day 3) and a hypertrophy/shaping focus (Day 6) truly transformed my lower body. The strength day focused on heavier loads and longer rest—for example, squats and hip thrusts with 4 sets each—while the hypertrophy day emphasized controlled tempo and shorter rests, which really helped in shaping and activating the glutes. On pull days, combining lat pulldowns, machine rows, and various curls, with attention to grip support like straps, was key in pushing past plateaus in my back and biceps growth. This routine’s emphasis on progressive overload, meaning increasing weights or reps systematically, kept me motivated and ensured consistent progress over weeks. I also appreciated the inclusion of rest day on Day 7, which is crucial for muscle recovery and avoiding burnout. Consistency proved to be the biggest factor. Repeating this routine week after week without overthinking or skipping exercises brought visible improvements in both strength and muscle tone. Beyond the exercises, tracking my weights and focusing on form made every workout more effective. If you’re looking for a structured, repeatable weekly gym plan that balances strength and muscle shaping, this routine offers a practical and proven blueprint. Remember, no incline pressing on push days and avoiding heavy hinging on pull days helped me avoid injuries and improve recovery. Overall, this method transformed my body and mindset toward training, proving that dedication and smart programming truly pay off.

Hey! I’m a bit late, but I was wondering how you start a calorie deficit, and how to know what to limit to? I’ve tried it once and it lasted a couple weeks, but then I got busy and started making excuses
