Vietnamese food in the heart of town

Located in the middle of Somerset and Dhoby Ghaut station, you can find Miss Saigon selling vietnamese food at affordable prices! Heard about this place being popular for their banh mi and finally got to try it!

Meat Roll Banh Mi

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: 4/5

It's quite a big portion and the fillings is really flavourful with alot of veggies! The baguette is on the crispier side, but it gives texture while eating the banh mi! Will definitely go back to try other dishes and flavours of banh mi!

... Read moreIf you're a fan of Vietnamese cuisine or new to it, Miss Saigon offers a delightful introduction, especially for those near Somerset and Dhoby Ghaut stations. I recently visited this spot after hearing rave reviews about their banh mi and was impressed by the combination of textures and flavors. The crispy baguette paired perfectly with the fresh, crunchy vegetables and savory fillings, creating a satisfying meal that didn’t cost a fortune. Beyond the Meat Roll Banh Mi, their menu includes a range of traditional favorites that cater to diverse tastes. From savory pho to grilled meat dishes and unique offerings like sweet and sour pig ears and Vietnamese rice noodles, there’s something for every palate. What stood out to me was the generous portion sizes paired with careful seasoning, making each bite memorable without overwhelming you. One tip for first-time visitors is to try the different types of banh mi—they vary from chả lua (Vietnamese pork sausage) to bì da heo (pork skin) options, enabling you to explore authentic flavors in one location. The affordability and accessibility make it an excellent spot for casual dining or a quick lunch during a busy day around Orchard Plaza. If you’re exploring Singapore and craving authentic Vietnamese street food vibes, this place captures that essence with 24-hour availability at some locations, making it convenient anytime. I plan to go back to try their beloved phở and other specialties like bún bò Huế or bánh mì chả cá soon. For anyone interested in exploring Vietnamese cuisine, Miss Saigon is a highly recommended destination that delivers quality and value right in the heart of the city.
