new cafe brunch spot at tanjong pagar - september coffee✨
September coffee has moved to a new location at tanjong pagar! (right below wunderbody pilates studio)
Reached around 12pm on a saturday and there was a long waiting queue! You can scan the qr code to get a number and go elsewhere first while waiting. You will get notified when your turn is reaching.
these are the things we tried!!
1. rose tonkatsu udon
September coffee is popular for their udon dishes so it was something that I wanted to try when im there! The udon was cooked well and the texture was chewy. The tonkatsu with the sauce drizzled on top was good too, with a good crunch to it and it wasnt too jelak, but I think the sauce for the udon can be better! (wasnt the rose sauce that I imagined it to be)
2. classic french toast
The classic french roast was a thicc piece of bread with a creme brulee top! Eat it with the butter and honey drizzled on it was really good, esp with the eggy texture in the middle of the bread. Would definitely recommend ordering this when you are there!
3. truffle tater tots (half portion)
Love that there is an option for half portion!! The truffle mayo was the star of the show and you cant go wrong with tater tots and truffle mayo🤣
For drinks we got the white peach matcha and brown butter latte! The white peach matcha was peach tea with matcha poured over the top, the peach wasnt sweet but it brings such a nice fruity taste to the matcha after stirring it together! You should definitely try this if you are a matcha lover!!
The brown butter latte reminds me of a fall drink with brown sugar coated around the top of the cup. Every mouth you take had that extra crunch from the brown sugar which I liked!
📍Address: September Coffee, 8 Craig Rd, #01 -01, Singapore 089668
Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: 5/5!!! (will definitely come back to try other dishes)
Visiting September Coffee at their new spot under Wunderbody Pilates in Tanjong Pagar truly enhanced my weekend brunch experience. One aspect that stood out was their efficient queue system — scanning a QR code to get notified when your table is ready means you don’t have to wait in line the whole time, which is great for busy weekends. The rose tonkatsu udon was a delightful surprise with its chewy noodles and crispy tonkatsu, although the rose sauce could have been more pronounced for a stronger flavor profile. Still, it was a comforting and satisfying dish that highlights September Coffee’s dedication to quality. The classic French toast stole the show for me. That thick bread topped with a crème brûlée layer, combined with butter and honey, created a rich, slightly caramelized delight with a wonderful eggy texture inside. It’s a perfect sweet savory balance that I would recommend to anyone visiting. If you’re a fan of shareable sides, their truffle tater tots in a half portion size struck the right chord—not too heavy, and the truffle mayo really elevated the dish. Paired with their clever drinks like the white peach matcha, which impressively combined delicate fruity and earthy flavors, and the brown butter latte with its crunchy brown sugar topping, it’s clear they put thought into crafting a well-rounded menu. For those searching for a cafe that offers more than just coffee and simple brunch fare in Singapore, September Coffee’s new location offers a refreshing blend of Japanese-inspired udon, classic sweet treats, and inventive beverages. Whether you visit during a busy weekend or a quieter weekday, it’s worth trying their signature dishes and enjoying the cozy modern environment situated right in the heart of Tanjong Pagar.
