SOME PEOPLE MISS YOU… BUT STILL DON’T DESERVE ACCESS TO YOU. 🦍🦍💎💎❤️❤️
Healing will teach you that missing someone does NOT always mean they deserve access to you again. 🖤
Some people miss:
* the comfort
* the attention
* the access
* the version of you that accepted less 🦍🦍💎💎❤️❤️
But growth changes your standards.
And sometimes protecting your peace means refusing to reopen doors that cost you your sanity every single time. ❤️❤️
Love alone is not enough when respect, accountability, and peace are missing.
From personal experience, I've learned that missing someone is a natural feeling, but it doesn't always mean it's healthy to let them back into your life. Often, what people truly miss isn’t the person themselves but the comfort, attention, and familiarity they once had. This can create an emotional trap where we confuse attachment and nostalgia with a genuine need for reconnection. Healing is an ongoing journey that shifts your perspective on relationships. As you grow, your standards evolve—you begin to value respect, accountability, and peace much more than just love. Reopening doors to people who repeatedly disrupt your sanity or cause emotional chaos is a choice many regret over time. In my own journey, setting boundaries has been crucial. Protecting your peace means recognizing the difference between missing the chaos and missing someone who genuinely deserves a place in your life. It's about choosing what benefits your mental and emotional well-being rather than falling back into old patterns. If you find yourself torn, remind yourself that love alone isn't enough if it's not accompanied by mutual respect and responsibility. Choosing to keep distance from those who don't contribute positively to your growth is an act of self-love. Keep affirming your worth and set intentions to surround yourself with people who uplift and support your peace.
