Day In My Life As A SAHM

Day In My life As A Stay At Home Mom

Today wasn’t an exciting day. I’ll be honest… I slacked once again getting stuff done, I’m so tired I just haven’t had the motivation to do anything this week other then those 2 days. I feel bad about that but it’s just how I feel sometimes and I can’t help it. I wish I didn’t feel this way trust me. Only thing I did today other then play with Paisley, and snuggle with her while watching movies was go shopping at the grocery store. Paisley was fighting a nap ALL DAY and only napped 40-45 minutes for the whole day and when she doesn’t get enough sleep she’s a fussy baby. I plan on getting stuff done tomorrow and stuff on Saturday fingers crossed! Something just feels off with me today I don’t know what and I can’t even describe how I feel I just haven’t felt my self today. I hope I’m not the only one that feels this way sometimes. I hope you momma’s had a good day today! And if not just remember you are one strong, beautiful, bad ass, hard working momma! #dayinmylife #momlife #momsoflemon8 #sahm #sahmlife

It's not uncommon for SAHMs to experience days where motivation is low, particularly after busy weeks. Embracing the slower days can sometimes feel daunting, and managing household tasks while caring for children adds to the complexity of the role. SAHMs often juggle multiple responsibilities, from housework to ensuring their kids are entertained, and it's important to recognize that feeling overwhelmed is part of the journey. When children are restless, like Paisley, it can be an emotional rollercoaster for parents. Yet, finding small victories in parenting and reminding oneself of the intrinsic value they bring to their children's lives can provide a much-needed boost in morale. Community support through social media platforms and parenting groups can be lifelines for encouragement and affirmation. Sharing experiences, like those in #momlife and #sahmlife, helps build a sense of belonging among mothers, allowing them to express their truth and connect with others who share similar experiences. Remember, every day doesn't have to be perfect or productive—what matters is the love and care you provide to your child, celebrating both the good and the challenging days along the way.
