06/1/2023 🪦💙

Excuse the blurry video I took this a long time ago when I was in high school. I would show different videos and pictures of his growing progress but lemon8 only slows 1 video so check my other post if you wanna see more videos/ pictures of him .

My dogs name was Khane he is a bull massive mixed with a Cane Corso. These breeds tend to be seen as aggressive or scary because of their body build but my Khaje was nothing of the sort . In fact he was extremely loving and playful he was also deaf and going blind towards the end of his years.

He enjoyed chasing people and jumping on beds and laying across your full body because he always seen himself as a baby despite his age and body growth.

He was an amazing and loving dog 🐶 me and my family miss him owe so much !!!

... Read moreIt's truly heartbreaking to say goodbye to a beloved pet, and reading about Khane, your amazing Cane Corso mix, reminds me so much of the unique bond we share with these incredible dogs. My own experience with large breeds has taught me that stereotypes often miss the mark, and Khane's story perfectly illustrates that. Many people see a Cane Corso and instantly think "aggressive" or "scary" because of their imposing size and powerful build. But like Khane, so many of these dogs are actually the sweetest, most loving companions. Khane being a Cane Corso mixed with a Bull Massive probably made him even more imposing to some, yet he was described as "extremely loving and playful." This really resonates with what I've learned about the breed – they are fiercely loyal and protective of their families, which can sometimes be misinterpreted. However, with the right socialization and training from a young age, a Cane Corso can be an absolute gentle giant. For anyone considering a Cane Corso puppy, early exposure to different people, places, and other animals is crucial to nurturing that wonderful, calm temperament. One of the common questions I hear about Cane Corsos is "are Cane Corsos good with kids?" or "cane corso temperament with kids." Based on Khane's description of enjoying chasing people and seeing himself as a baby, I can only imagine he would have been wonderful with respectful children, always wanting to be part of the family fun. They often form very strong bonds with children in their household, acting as a watchful protector. However, due to their size, supervision is always key, especially with very young children. Their playful antics, like jumping on beds, are endearing, but their sheer mass means they don't always know their own strength! Living with a large dog like Khane also brings up questions about their lifestyle, such as "cane corso relaxed indoors." Despite their size, many Cane Corsos are surprisingly calm indoors once they've had sufficient exercise. They love to be close to their families, often preferring to lounge on the sofa or a big dog bed nearby. Khane's habit of laying across your full body really highlights this desire for closeness and affection. They thrive on companionship and don't do well if left alone for extended periods; they truly are part of the family. Khane's journey, especially towards the end with his deafness and declining vision, is incredibly touching. It truly shows his resilience and the strength of his spirit. It reminds us that dogs, even with challenges, can lead full and happy lives. When I read "he's deaf... but he's still amazing," it captures that perfectly. Caring for a special needs pet requires patience and adaptation, but the love you receive in return is immeasurable. It teaches us to cherish every moment. For those interested in the different types, queries like "merle cane corso," "blue cane corso," or "white king cane corso dogs" show the diversity within the breed. While Khane's specific coloration isn't mentioned, his unique mix highlights how individual each dog is. Understanding the specific traits of a Cane Corso mastiff mix, for example, can help future owners prepare for their size, potential health considerations, and energy levels. Ultimately, Khane's story is a beautiful testament to the loving nature of Cane Corsos and how they enrich our lives. They are more than just a breed; they are family members who leave paw prints on our hearts forever. It's clear your Khane was a truly special boy.
