jb cafes are gettin mid..
recently i visited hock kee cafe with my friend whilst in JB city square.
* i saw a post on L8 that was raving about it and i begged him to try it with me
the cafe was PACKED and i was super excited to eat their fried CKT and my friend ordered a meehoon kuay.
the dishes came out super mid? and honestly was so subpar.
the coffee gave me a short term upset stomach also :” i left feeling unsatisfied and HUNGRY cause my cravings were not met. we didnt finish any of the dishes (besides the toast)
can i also say that the meehoon kuay was SUPER DRY AND HARD. Like it was horrible
the prices weren’t exactly super affordable either…
im starting to think that staying behind and eating at sg might be more worth it
