unwind & reflect

With a “M” as in May I be vulnerable?

I know we’re more than a week into March but I finally got the time to reflect about what has happened in my life the past 2 months

Currently on this long long longggg season of isolation.

Although I am growing and I am being presented with opportunities and happiness there is still this vacancy within me.

Nevertheless I am so grateful for all the small wins and even the loses that redirected me to where I needed to go.

There’s no doubt that God & time are my healers and all that is required from my part is patience.

I don’t claim to be the “best” person I recognize my shortcomings and hope I can learn from them so I never hurt another soul again.

So today I sat down and cheered for myself a little by journaling all the small wins! I highly recommend you to do it…

Just get out a piece of paper and write down all the little things that you’re proud of accomplishing. It can be as small as cooking your favorite meal or as big as volunteering somewhere.

Make sure you take pride in your strides and take a moment to be grateful.

Grateful that you’re here. Grateful that you’re alive. Grateful that you are YOU. Uniquely and beautifully made🩷

Vulnerability is not a weakness; it's a strength that allows us to connect more deeply with ourselves and others. This March, consider making journaling a part of your routine. Writing down your thoughts can be incredibly therapeutic—whether you focus on your small victories or express your feelings, it can channel your emotions constructively. Reflect on your experiences and recognize the progress you've made, no matter how small. Perhaps cooking a meaningful meal or simply enjoying a quiet moment can serve as a reminder of your accomplishments. Gratitude is another essential practice to incorporate into your reflections. Acknowledging what you have—being thankful for your life, your relationships, and even the challenges—opens the door to a more positive mindset. Regularly expressing gratitude can enhance your well-being and remind you that, despite life’s ups and downs, there’s always something to celebrate. In moments of solitude, connect with your inner self and explore ways to grow from your experiences. Isolation doesn't mean you have to feel alone; it can be a time for personal growth and deeper understanding of your emotions. This March, challenge yourself to embrace vulnerability, celebrate your unique journey, and find beauty in every little stride forward.
