Hi!!
It’s been a hot minute but I thought I’d update with a few more things I’ve done. I feel like I’m bad at taking photos and truly showing the better parts of these places.
Fluffy Fluffy was my first experience with fluffy pancakes and they were absolutely amazing and delicious but I found myself more in awe at the decoration. This is actually the Duluth location if anyone is interested.
The State Captiol is free admission and open to the public! Its indoor architecture is really pretty and I highly recommend stopping by. They do just scan your ID upon entering.
The Hindu shrine is BAPS also a bit further out of the downtown area (I think it’s also Duluth or nearby) but this is also free! It’s also really pretty and they don’t allow you to take photos inside but I promise taking a little adventure inside is so worth it.
I loved the Fernbank Museum I stopped by with family and there’s also an outdoor exhibit/woodsy area with a path and interesting sights. The outdoor part definitely took sometime to explore.
Unfortunately the pandas are no longer at the Atlanta Zoo, they left in October ‘24 but there are still so many incredible animals to see I promise! They have red pandas and Siberian tigers which I’ve never seen before and are very majestic.
My hopes are to keep exploring while I’m here but sometimes it’s hard to keep getting myself out there. I’ve been dealing with a very bad case of home sickness ever since I’ve moved here and am still trying to find the joys in small adventures through romanticizing my outings. Over the next month or so I really want to go to the Macon Cherry Blossom festival 🌸 and hopefully catch a soccer game at Mercedes-Benz ⚽️! My job in sports data is definitely ramping up with the start of baseball season so I hope I can get those off my bucket list sooner rather than later 🤞✨
