Once a Cheater, Always a Cheater?
I get it, people can grow, heal, and change. But when it comes to cheating, something in me just can’t look past it. It’s not about holding a grudge, it’s about boundaries. Once someone has crossed that line, I can’t help but wonder what made it so easy for them in the first place. I’ve been on the other side of that, loving someone who promised loyalty but gave me excuses instead. And no amount of “I’ve changed” can erase how it feels to question your worth because of someone else’s choice.
For me, cheating isn’t just about what happened, it’s about the mindset behind it. It’s the lying, the disrespect, the moment they decided their temporary desire mattered more than your trust. I don’t hate them, I just don’t want to gamble my peace on “maybe this time is different.” Because trust, once broken, never feels the same again. And honestly, I’d rather wait for someone who knows how to love without crossing lines than convince myself that betrayal can be rewritten.
Would you give them a chance and be with them??
