He’s got this
Any other worriers out there? We’re called to have no fear and not to worry, but if you’re anything like me that is such a struggle. We’re human after all and satan loves to take advantage of our weakness. One of my most common prayers is for God to remove my anxiety and fear that holds me back in so many areas of my life. Maybe you can relate. Pray with me and use this to make this prayer your own.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray that You would bring peace to those of us that have fears creeping up and holding us back from anything that You are calling us into. I pray that You would give us the courage and strength to face what lies ahead and to lean into You throughout it all. Whatever the future holds, I pray that we would feel Your presence walking it out and that You would remove the doubts that try to overtake our faith. I pray that we would feel Your sweet comfort and peace every step of the way. For me personally, I pray that You would remove my social anxiety and clear my mind of all the other irrational anxieties that run through my head throughout the day. Bring about Godly friendship for me. Friendship that can happen despite my tendencies to be an introvert. Friendship that is so clearly from You. I also pray that You would strengthen my faith to trust in Your plan for my life. Help me to let go of what I thought my life would look like in my 30s and to grasp onto the fact that Your plans will always be better than what I think should happen. I pray that you would continue to convict me and mold me into a more Godly woman. I pray that when the time is right that You would make a way for me to meet a Godly man and that a relationship that glorifies You would form. Lord, for anyone who sees this and can relate, I pray that you would wrap Your loving arms around them and remind them that they are not alone. Draw us all closer to You, Lord and remove all the fears holding us back. Give us freedom. Break us free from these chains and fill us with the joy that comes from following You.
