Meet the Family💖

Meet my lovely Christian family, we aren’t perfect by any mean but we try our best to make sure Christ is the center of our love for one another💖 I’ll introduce them in order of the pictures!!!

First up… Miles, my sweet younger brother (yes I said younger, even though he’s so much taller than me). Miles has been my biggest supporter and shoulder to cry on ever since he could talk 💖

Next up we got my good ole mama! Let me tell ya that women is a saint, through all my ups and downs in life from drug addiction to getting my divorce she never once left my side, she always came to my rescues the moment I needed her! As she likes to say all the time “there’s nothing god and mama can’t fix” don’t tell her but she’s right!

Coming up next is my lovely daddy (in the middle). This man taught me what to look for in a man, if I can find one half as good as he is I’ll have it made. when he didn’t have an answer to one of my millions of questions, he either found the answer or he would say “well sis let’s pray about it till he give us the answer you need”

Coming in hot up next is my baby boy Garrett (he’s my baby cousin). When my aunt and uncle said they were adopting another child I never dreamed they would have brought home my 1 st baby! (That will make since later) Garrett brought the joy back into my life when I didn’t have anything else

Next we have my good ole memo and pop pop (yes I picked those names). I’m the 1st grandchild and the only granddaughter so of course I’m spoiled! Pop is the reason I started learning about being a home maker, and he’s supported my journey every step of the way! Memo on the other hand is the one you call when you have a bad day and here she comes to get you and a whole day of shopping later and a Choclate dipped cone from DQ later all your life problems will be solved!

Next up is aunt Mandy. This women is so special to me… god let me pick her as my aunt because he knew my biological aunt would eventually choose her addiction over her family. she taught me, my love of singing. And just like Garrett, I was her first baby! Before they started the adoption process they gave up trying and she would keep me all the time to fill the void of wanting her own child❤️

Last but most definitely my favorite my sweet children! My dogs!

Bella is pictured first, she is a pomperian poodle and is 8 years old. But make no mistake that girl is still a puppy at heart! She is up my butt all day everyday and she loves to be under my feet the whole time I’m baking or canning!!

Tanner is pictured next! He is a lab golden retriever mix! He is 3 years old and loves to snuggle in bed! I got tanner shortly after my divorce, to say that dog saved my life is an understatement. I was ready to give up for good when a good friend of mine asked if I wanted him because she could no longer get around good enough to keep up with his high energy self. At first I said no that I wanted a small dog and then quickly after said i changed my mind I’ll take him, I picked him up at 11 pm and it’s been him and I against the world. He brought my sparkle back again and taught me what unconditional love really means!!

... Read moreIt’s truly a blessing to have such a supportive and faith-filled family, and I'm so glad I get to introduce them to you! When I say Christ is at the center of our love, it’s not just a phrase; it’s the foundation that helps us navigate life’s beautiful chaos. We've weathered storms together, from personal struggles like addiction and divorce to everyday challenges, and it’s our shared faith that always brings us back to love and understanding. My mama always says, "there’s nothing God and Mama can’t fix," and honestly, it’s a mantra I live by. It’s comforting to know that no matter what, I have a strong spiritual and familial backbone. This isn't just about big moments; it's in the small, daily acts of kindness, the shared prayers, and the unwavering belief in each other’s redemption and growth. My dad’s wisdom of "let’s pray about it" taught me patience and faith in seeking answers, a lesson I carry through everything. And then there are my incredible family pups! Bella, my sweet Pomeranian Poodle, is truly a shadow, always underfoot when I'm baking or canning. Her constant presence is a comforting reminder of simple, unconditional affection. Tanner, my lab-golden retriever mix, is more than just a pet; he's a testament to how animals can heal our deepest wounds. His arrival after my divorce wasn't just about getting a dog; it was about welcoming a spark back into my life when I felt completely lost. He taught me what true, selfless love looks like and helped me rediscover my own joy. The love from these two truly rounds out my family circle. Sometimes, life throws curveballs, and it’s easy to feel isolated. But my journey has shown me the immense power of a loving family – both chosen and biological, and even furry! They are the ones who celebrate your triumphs, lift you up during failures, and remind you that you’re never alone. Building these bonds takes effort, forgiveness, and a whole lot of grace, but the return on that investment is immeasurable. I hope sharing a glimpse into my family inspires you to cherish your own loved ones and perhaps lean on your faith a little more, knowing that with God and a loving support system, anything is possible. Welcome again to our family – it truly takes a village!
