私がいちばん後悔したのは、「マタニティワンピース＝産後も着られるでしょ」と思い込んで、授乳のしやすさを見落としたことでした。妊娠中はお腹がラクで可愛ければOKに感じるんだけど、産後は1日何回も授乳があるので“服の構造”が超重要になります。 まず「授乳服とは？」って聞かれると、ざっくり言うと“赤ちゃんに授乳しやすいように開き方が工夫された服”のこと。代表的なのは、(1)胸元が2枚仕立て（重ね着みたいになっていて内側を下げるだけ）、(2)サイドにファスナー、(3)前ボタン、(4)カシュクール（打ち合わせ）タイプ。私が使って助かったのは胸元が2枚になっているタイプで、外から見ると普通のワンピースなのにサッと授乳できて、授乳ケープがなくても比較的安心でした。 次に「マタニティワンピース（冬）」で選ぶなら、生地の厚みと足元の冷え対策はセットで考えるのがおすすめ。私は“半袖より分厚めの生地”のワンピが冬のお出かけでかなり便利でした。さらに、授乳で裾をめくる羽目になると脚が丸出しで本当に寒いので、授乳口があるかどうかで快適さが段違い。冬は特に「上から授乳できる構造」を最優先にして良かったです。 「授乳服 おしゃれ」も諦めなくて大丈夫で、ポイントは3つだけ。 1) 授乳口が目立たないデザイン（胸元2枚・隠しファスナー） 2) 伸びる素材（妊娠後期〜産後の体型変化に強い） 3) 洗濯に強い（ミルク汚れで回数が増えるので、シワになりにくいと神） そして意外と検索が多い「授乳ワンピース お宮参り」。お宮参りは写真も残るので、きちんと見えしつつ授乳できると安心です。私なら、暗めカラーor落ち着いた色のワンピに、ジャケットやカーデを羽織ってきれいめに寄せます。授乳のタイミングが読めない日ほど、“前開きor胸元2枚”みたいに手間が少ないタイプを選ぶとバタバタしません。 最後に、買う前チェックリストを置いておきます。 ・胸元が開く（上から授乳できる） ・伸びる／締め付けない（妊娠中もOK） ・冬なら生地が程よく厚い＋インナーを仕込みやすい ・産後も普段着に見えるデザイン 妊娠中の「今かわいい」だけで選ぶと、産後に詰むことがある…と身をもって学びました。マタニティワンピースを探している人ほど、“授乳まで見据える”だけで失敗が減ると思います。
