What many don’t realize is how challenging it can be to remember to take time for yourself amidst all the demands. Some days, I’m unstoppable, pushing through every task with energy and determination. Other days, I’m simply unavailable, needing to recharge and protect my well-being. It’s important to recognize both sides as equally valid and necessary. One key insight I’ve gained is that self-care isn’t selfish but essential. Pouring into others’ cups is fulfilling, but without refilling your own, burnout is inevitable. Small rituals such as a quiet moment to breathe or a short walk can make all the difference in sustaining balance. Embracing the duality of being productive and needing rest allows you to function better overall. If you identify as a type C girl, you’re not alone in this experience. Many of us juggle the tension between being highly capable and allowing ourselves grace during less productive times. It’s okay to acknowledge both versions of yourself. By doing so, you develop resilience and maintain your ability to get important things done while caring for your mental and emotional health.
