2️⃣ LET YOUR RHYTHM RETURN
As the ground levels out, let your steps open naturally. Build smoothly back into your race rhythm while keeping your shoulders relaxed.
3️⃣ ADJUST TO THE NEXT SECTION
Flat ground? Settle into your rhythm.
Downhill? Stay controlled and watch your footing.
Another climb? Keep your effort manageable.
At your next practice, ask your coach to help you rehearse the transition over a gentle hill at an easy pace.
