The salon named V.S.D.C. has become more than just a business—it’s a testament to strength, commitment, and Black women magic, a spirit beautifully captured by the inspiring imagery of the community’s journey. Owning commercial property provided a foundation, but building a thriving business in that space became a celebration of identity and excellence. For anyone considering entering the commercial real estate or entrepreneurship world, especially amid uncertain times, my experience highlights the importance of staying grounded, connecting with your heritage, and trusting the process.
