🤍 Most Important Commandment 🤍

I really love this message because we often forget how we should be living. Or we over complicate it as Christian’s and often put so much pressure on the values and that many run from it.

The most important thing Jesus said to do was to Love God and Love People. 📖Matthew 22:36

Sounds easy right? The hardest part is loving people… especially our enemies. 📖Luke 6:27 & 35 & John 13:35

We can’t love God without loving each other!

Reflecting on the powerful message of loving God and loving others, I have found that this commandment is both simple and incredibly challenging in everyday life. While loving God can often bring a sense of peace and devotion, loving people, especially those we find difficult, pushes us beyond our comfort zones. Scripture reminds us in Luke 6:27 and 6:35 that loving our enemies is not optional but a radical call to live out our faith authentically. From personal experience, I’ve learned that this love is not just about feelings but about intentional choices—choosing kindness and forgiveness even when holding others accountable seems easier. A useful way to practice this commandment is by viewing Jesus as the CEO of our lives, guiding our daily decisions. When faced with conflict, love is not always about saving someone from consequences; sometimes it means making hard choices, like setting healthy boundaries or cutting ties, all while maintaining love in our hearts. This approach aligns with the idea that loving others unlocks life rather than diminishing it. Ultimately, the commandment to love God and people is the foundation that shapes Christian values, uniting faith with action and fostering genuine community and compassion.
