my favorite cafe in nyc🧚‍♀️🩷📖☕️

... Read moreOkay, so I just HAVE to share more about Caffe Reggio, my absolute favorite spot in the West Village! If you're searching for a truly authentic, cozy cafe experience in NYC, this place is a must-visit. Seriously, it's not just a coffee shop; it's like stepping back in time. First off, the exterior itself is iconic – that beautiful green-fronted cafe that just screams classic New York. It's been established in 1927, and you can feel that history in every corner. I love sitting at one of their outdoor tables, especially in the evening, watching the world go by. The nighttime view of the cafe, with its warm glow, is just magical and definitely adds to that "best ambiance" everyone talks about. It’s definitely a cute picture spot whether you're capturing the charming facade or the cozy interior. Now, let's talk about the treats! Their cappuccino is legendary, and honestly, it lives up to the hype. It’s perfectly balanced and just what you need to kickstart your day or for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. But you absolutely cannot leave without trying their chocolate mousse. It's heavenly, rich, and melts in your mouth – a true indulgence. I’ve also had their slice of cake with strawberries and various other chocolate desserts, and they never disappoint. They even have a lovely selection of teapots if you're more of a tea person, making it a perfect spot for all kinds of drinks. What makes it such a cozy spot? Beyond the delicious food and drinks, it’s the vibe. The dim lighting, the art on the walls, the chatter of people enjoying themselves – it all creates this wonderfully inviting atmosphere. It’s genuinely a place where you can comfortably settle in for hours, whether you're working on school stuff, catching up with a friend, or just want to escape the hustle of the city. I've seen people bring their small dogs to the outdoor tables, adding to the relaxed, neighborhood feel. For anyone looking for a green cafe New York experience that goes beyond just coffee, Caffe Reggio is it. It’s been a setting for countless movies and TV series, and you'll quickly understand why. It has that timeless, cinematic quality. If you're in Greenwich Village, make sure to carve out some time for this gem. It truly offers one of the best Caffe Reggio reviews you could hope for – a personal endorsement from me! Trust me, it’s worth the visit for the history, the charm, and especially, the delicious cappuccino and desserts.
