Learning to hear God’s voice 101!🌻✨
It took me FOREVER to learn God’s voice. Or at least that’s what I thought because I kept doubting when He’d speak to me. It comes overtime with spiritual maturity and it takes practice and faith. Here’s what helped me grow more confident in hearing His voice⬇️:
1) God will speak to us in different ways. Just because someone you know hears Him audibly doesn’t mean you can’t hear Him. He knows how to communicate with His children; some of us get dreams, others visions, sometimes He speaks through His creation, He’ll make things make sense to you by using your interests too! You just have to be open to more of God’s methods and pay attention
2) Once you’re aware that God speaks differently; study in scripture the different ways God spoke to His other children. He’s the same God; He’ll use those same methods. The more you grow spiritually, the more you’ll be able to discern
3) Have faith!! This is so important because God can be tryna hit you wit a MEAN revelation through something and you peep then you tell yourself “ahh, that’s not God that’s me” No because what if it is?!! Have more faith. Faith that you’re hearing God will help you LEARN to differentiate when you’re hearing Him and when you’re not. You have to start somewhere!
