2025 Recap
Excited for 2026 💛
Wow, can you believe 2025 is already winding down? It feels like just yesterday we were ringing in the new year, full of resolutions and fresh starts. Now, as I look back, I'm struck by how much has happened. This year, for me, was a mixed bag of unexpected twists and some really fulfilling moments. I spent a lot of time focusing on personal growth, trying new hobbies, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone, which wasn't always easy, but definitely rewarding. One of the biggest lessons I learned in 2025 was the importance of adaptability. Things rarely go exactly as planned, right? I had a few big goals at the start of the year that took detours, and instead of getting bogged down, I tried to embrace the changes and find new paths. For instance, I initially planned a big trip that fell through, but it led me to discover some amazing local gems I never would have explored otherwise. It taught me that sometimes, the best experiences are the unplanned ones. Comparing 2025 to my hopes for 2026, I'm carrying forward that spirit of flexibility. While 2025 was about navigating the unexpected, I'm really hoping 2026 will be a year of intentional creation. I want to build on the foundations I laid this year, particularly in terms of my creative projects and community involvement. I found myself feeling incredibly energized by connecting with like-minded people, and that's something I definitely want to prioritize even more next year. So, what am I specifically excited for in 2026? Firstly, I'm planning to dive deeper into a new skill I picked up late in 2025 – baking! I'm hoping to master a few challenging recipes and maybe even share some of my creations here. Secondly, I'm aiming for more balance. 2025 felt a bit like a sprint at times, and for 2026, I want to ensure I'm making time for rest and rejuvenation, not just productivity. It's all about finding that sweet spot where I can be productive and still feel refreshed. For anyone else doing their own year-end reflections, I'd really recommend taking some time to jot down your highs and lows from 2025. What were your proudest moments? What challenged you the most? And what did you learn from it all? Thinking about these comparisons can be incredibly insightful for setting intentions for 2026. Don't just make a list of resolutions; think about the feelings you want to cultivate and the experiences you want to have. I'm excited to see what new adventures and growth 2026 brings, and I'm sending all of you good vibes for a fantastic new year! Let's make 2026 even better! 💛
