Okay I joined… now what?

Okay, so here I am on Lemon8, and I'm so excited to dive in, but also a little bit like, 'now what?!' 😂 For those of you who might be new to my corner of the internet, let me give you a proper introduction! I'm absolutely obsessed with all things fantasy, especially when it comes to books and, of course, bringing those characters to life through cosplay. If you've seen my profile picture or some of my other content, you'll know I love transforming into magical beings. One of my favorite recent creations, which you might spot in my intro post, features a stunning red satin outfit complemented by an intricate crown and, my absolute favorite, custom-made elf ears. I spent so much time getting the details right, even down to finding the perfect backdrop—an ornate mirror framed by beautiful green ivy, which just transports me straight into a fantasy realm. It’s all about capturing that ethereal, enchanting vibe that makes these stories so special. My journey into the bookish world really took off because of BookTok. I stumbled upon so many incredible recommendations and found a community that shares my deep love for sprawling fantasy sagas. A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR) is definitely one of my top obsessions! What started as casual reading quickly turned into a full-blown passion, leading me to create cosplays inspired by these beloved characters. There's something incredibly rewarding about embodying a character you adore, from crafting the costume to stepping into their shoes, even if it's just for a photoshoot. On Lemon8, I’m hoping to connect with fellow bookworms, cosplayers, and anyone who loves a good fantasy story. You can expect a mix of content from me: maybe some behind-the-scenes glimpses into my cosplay projects, honest book reviews and recommendations (especially for new fantasy releases!), discussions about my favorite ACOTAR theories, and perhaps even some tips for getting started with your own cosplay journey.
