GRADUATED MY RN PROGRAM🥳🎓

Ohio

... Read moreWow, what an incredible feeling to finally say I’ve graduated my RN program! This journey has been a rollercoaster of emotions, late-night study sessions, and moments of doubt, but standing here today as a Registered Nurse makes every single moment worth it. I remember the day I decided to pursue an RN degree, looking at all those nursing textbooks and thinking, “Can I really do this?” And now, here I am! For those of you dreaming of becoming an RN, I wanted to share a bit about my experience and what I’ve learned along the way. Many of you might be wondering, “how long does it take to become a registered nurse?” or exploring options like “online pre licensure nursing programs” or even a “remote nursing school.” My path involved a traditional program, but I’ve seen friends succeed through various routes, including community college programs. Typically, an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) can take about 2 years, while a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) usually takes 4. Deciding on the right path for you depends on your personal circumstances and career goals. Don’t hesitate to research all the options, whether it’s a full-time campus program or a more flexible online pre licensure nursing program that fits your schedule. Now that I’ve got my RN degree, the possibilities feel endless! I’m already thinking about my next steps, maybe even becoming a future nurse practitioner down the line. But for now, I’m excited about diving into patient care. Many people ask about “remote jobs” in nursing, and while direct patient care often involves being on-site, there are indeed growing opportunities in telehealth, case management, and even nursing informatics that can be done remotely. It's amazing how diverse the nursing field is, allowing us to find roles that truly resonate with our passions. And let’s talk about the fun stuff – embracing the RN identity! I’ve been getting so many questions about finding the perfect “rn outfit” or even what to wear for the “NCLEX outfit.” Honestly, comfort is key, especially during long shifts. My go-to is a comfortable pair of scrubs, maybe with a fun stethoscope to show a bit of personality! After all the hard work, it’s a badge of honor to wear those scrubs and those white RN letters proudly. There’s a special pride that comes with this profession, and it truly feels like I was born to be an RN. To all my fellow nurses and aspiring nurses out there, keep pushing, keep learning, and celebrate every milestone. We are truly making a difference!
