I don’t wanna work today🤧👇
I work at 1:15 PM till 7 and yes that’s not too bad of a shift but I’m a female bagger and I get mistreated so badly by old people being told I can’t do my job case it’s a man’s job.
I asked to be a cashier and my manager has been out for 4 weeks at other stores in Texas and Mexico.
Like WHY do people think only men should do these jobs 😡 they also tend to stare at me when I bag while I’m not looking which makes me feel insecure
Dear People Who Think It’s Weird seeing a Girl Pushing Carts,
Yes, I’m the cart attendant.
Yes, I’m a girl.
And yes, I can push carts just fine.
I’ve worked in the heat, the cold, the rain, during holidays, graduation weekends, and busy Saturdays. I’ve cleared parking lots, gathered carts from every corner of the lot, and walked more steps than I can count.
Sometimes people look surprised when they see me doing this job. Some even ask if it’s hard. The truth is, it can be. But that doesn’t mean I can’t do it.
A shopping cart doesn’t know who’s pushing it.
At the end of the day, I’m earning my paycheck, helping customers, and doing my job just like everyone else.
So if you see a girl pushing carts, don’t be surprised.
We’re stronger than you think. 🛒💪✨
Love,
A Cart Attendant
