Let’s be mutuals!

Hey everyone! So many of you reached out after my last post saying "Let's be mutuals!", and it totally made my day. I'm absolutely loving connecting with new people here on Lemon8, and I wanted to share a little more about me, beyond just my social handles. It's truly amazing how quickly you can feel a sense of community! First off, for those who don't know, I'm Maddie! I'm 19 years old and work as a patient care tech. It's a busy job, but I love being able to help people. I originally hail from Maryland but I'm currently living my best life down in South Carolina, and I've found so much to love about it here – from the beautiful landscapes to the friendly faces. My biggest passion, hands down, is country music. If there's a concert happening, chances are I'm trying to be there! I've been to countless shows, probably over 100 artists by now, and events like "Rock the Country" are my absolute favorite. There's just something about the energy of live music and singing along with thousands of other fans that's truly electrifying. I love discovering new artists just as much as I love belting out classics. So, if you're a fellow country music fan, I definitely want to hear your favorite artists or concert memories! Beyond the music, I'm a huge foodie. Seriously, I'm always on the hunt for new restaurants to try, whether it's a cozy local spot or a place with a gourmet dish that looks like a work of art. I also love experimenting with new recipes in my own kitchen – there's nothing quite like the satisfaction of creating a delicious meal from scratch. If you have any go-to recipes or restaurant recommendations, send them my way! When I'm not working or at a concert, I'm usually spending time with my two amazing dogs (they're my fur babies!), or diving into my hair and skin care routines. Self-care is so important, right? And here's a fun fact: I actually enjoy bird hunting. It's a unique hobby, but I find it really grounding to be out in nature. My boyfriend and I, we've been together for two years now, and we love exploring new places together. We're always planning our next adventure, big or small. And for winding down, you can usually find me binging medical shows – I can't get enough of them! So now you know even more about me!
