My oldest friend got married this weekend!

Attending my oldest friend's wedding in Woodstock, Vermont, was such a meaningful experience that combined both nostalgia and new memories. Having moms who have been best friends since kindergarten meant that Lindsey and I truly grew up together. The wedding venue, Woodstock Inn, left a lasting impression with its stunning views and charming ambiance. It was so inviting that I’m already planning a trip just to explore and stay there longer. The rehearsal dinner at the Inn on the River set a perfect tone for the weekend, blending elegant rustic charm with heartfelt celebrations. Leaving baby James behind was bittersweet, but my mother-in-law took great care of him, especially as he was recovering from an ear infection. This little parents’ getaway gave us a chance to reconnect as friends and enjoy the joyful atmosphere of a genuine, caring couple's union. Weddings like these remind me how beautiful lifelong friendships and love stories are, especially when set against the peaceful backdrop of Woodstock, Vermont.
