Finally back from my New York trip! I was able to attend the @Barnesandnoble book fest at their Union Square location. I got so many ARCS and was able to meet @Victoria S. Walsh the author of The Iron Hex coming out soon! She was so sweet and I can’t wait to read her book!
Attending the Barnes & Noble book fest was a truly memorable experience for any book lover like me. The Union Square location was vibrant with readers and authors passionate about literature, making it a perfect gathering spot. One of the highlights was meeting Victoria S. Walsh, the talented author of the upcoming novel The Iron Hex. She was incredibly approachable and enthusiastic about sharing insights into her book, which built my anticipation even more. Collecting ARCs was another thrilling part of the event. Having advanced access to books before release lets me dive deep into fresh stories and share early reviews with friends and fellow readers. It felt like being part of an exclusive community, and I can’t wait to see how these books make an impact. If you are a fan of book festivals or themed reading challenges like those found on BookTok or bookish communities, events like this are perfect opportunities to discover new genres, meet authors, and expand your collection. The atmosphere encouraged lively conversations about favorite books and upcoming releases. For those planning to visit future Barnes & Noble book fests or similar events, I recommend arriving early to explore various genres and secure popular ARCs. Also, don't hesitate to engage with authors — their personal stories and signing sessions add so much value to the experience. Overall, this book fest enriched my reading journey, and sharing it here inspires me to continue exploring and supporting the literary world. If you love books and community, I highly suggest attending such festivals when you get the chance.
