⚡️certified⚡️

So we did a thing. Plz clap.

I am officially a certified personal trainer.

This isn't a pivot, it's an expansion.

I have learned so much about myself through fitness.

I have learned to micro-divest from corporate spaces.

i have learned that I can do hard things.

I have learned that all versions of me are deserving of care and movement.

I felt weird about sharing this new accomplishment, because I don't have the tiktok body, or the "ill change your body in 8 weeks programming", but I do have the tools to help other people prevent and heal from burnout.

Everyone deserves to create movement practices that feel sustainable, that they look forward to rather than resent.

I'm exciting for what comes next.

I'm excited for the opportunity to combine *all* of my skills into one body of work.

Stay tuned.

K, love you, bye.

... Read moreAchieving certification as a personal trainer through ISSA has been a transformative experience that goes far beyond fitness credentials. In my journey, I realized that fitness is not about fitting into a specific body type or following rapid body transformation programs. Instead, it’s about embracing movement that nurtures all versions of ourselves. One essential insight I gained is the importance of creating sustainable exercise habits. Too often, fitness programs promise drastic results in just a few weeks but end up feeling overwhelming or unsustainable, leading to burnout. My focus now is on helping people develop personalized movement routines that look forward to, not dread. Additionally, earning this certification has helped me connect fitness with mental well-being. Through learning to prevent and heal burnout, I’ve combined knowledge from multiple disciplines into a holistic approach. Movement is a powerful tool for managing stress and boosting resilience, especially for those navigating corporate or high-pressure environments. The idea of "micro-divesting" from corporate spaces also influenced how I approach fitness coaching. It means taking small but intentional steps away from environments that drain your energy and instead cultivating practices that replenish you physically, mentally, and emotionally. By sharing this accomplishment honestly—without trying to fit the "TikTok body" mold or selling unrealistic promises—I hope to inspire others to embrace fitness as a lifelong, adaptable journey of care. Everyone deserves movement that respects their unique needs and supports their overall health. Looking ahead, I’m excited to integrate my newly certified skills with my broader experiences, providing fitness support that empowers sustainable change and fosters a balanced, joyful life. Stay tuned for more insights and guidance as this next chapter unfolds.
