severe weather conditions coming to Houston areas.

Getting my first look at our hi-resolution in-house computer model future radar product. Brings gusty storms into our viewing area Friday night with storms lingering in area through daybreak Saturday.

Seen here, these storms would have a risk of brief strong wind gusts, frequent lightning and heavy rain with a localized flood risk. Any hail risk would be small hail (if at all) in this kind of scenario

This is a reasonable solution IMO from what I've analyzed w/ other model data. That said, we're still over 48hrs out. Hope it holds!

** Do want to point out, our southern tier counties of the viewing area would see much less rain in this scenario. Further south out of our viewing area, even less or no rain at all.
