Melissa could take a turn for the worst...

Jamaica is at risk for potentially catastrophic impacts from upcoming Hurricane Melissa, beginning Saturday and lasting through Tuesday. With the slow-moving nature of Melissa, the track can still change, but the HAFS-B model (hurricane model) indicates Melissa stalling around and in Jamaica for upwards of 3 days. This would lead to a devastating scenario resulting in Category 3-5 winds, 20-30"+ of rainfall, storm surge, and beach erosion.

I do not say this stuff lightly, but this hurricane has the potential of being catastrophic for these areas. You should be preparing if you're in Jamaica, Eastern Cuba, and Haiti.
