Day in My life as a STEM student
College for me is pretty crazy. I am a stem student so I have anywhere from 3 to 5 classes every single day. on top of that I’m a commuter since my college wouldn’t let me live on campus and that is a 30 minute drive to school every single day. This was my light day!
As much as possible I try to study or do homework when I can so I don’t have to worry about it when I get home. It makes it easy on my end so I can have home rest time instead of always always doing homework or always studying. Even 15 minutes is very helpful when it comes to getting homework done.
🍋5:30 am: wakeup and get showered and ready
🍋6:55 am: leave to get to school
🍋7:30 am: walk to class ~ 5 to 10 min depending on traffic
🍋7:40 am: prep for class and get started on notes ahead of time so I can keep up!
🍋 8:00 am: first class starts
🍋 9:00 am: find a place to study and get started on homework before my next class
🍋10:00 am: class 2 starts
🍋 11:00 am: go grab lunch and study at dining hall
🍋12:30 pm: final class!
🍋2:00 pm: drive to cafe near work to get some homework in before my shift
🍋3:00 pm: work!
🍋8:30 pm: go home and study for a couple hours and then bed!
Well, this is my late day typically my days last until 8:30 and then I go home and do a little bit more studying if I still need to do anything. I always make time for my friends on the weekends and after work or if I don’t have work that day after class.
Scheduling my time is the only way I feel like I can get anything done. If not, I feel like I just lay there and do nothing.
