Last year of college! What I look forward to!

Hey all!

I know some freshmen may be scared about a new transition into college. It’s definitely a huge transition into adult herd for a student. Here’s a few things that I’m going to look forward to and my final semester of undergrad!

⭐️I am so excited to do my little café study sessions! The environment is always so welcoming and helps me focus. And even better if we can get coffee!

⭐️ the school has a few animals that students take care of! That’s fun to interact with them and see how the animals progress! A lot of them are projects on animal welfare care!

⭐️ when fall hits and the leaf start to turn it is absolutely beautiful on campus. I love walking through when the leaves are beginning to fall! One of my favorite seasons of all time!

⭐️ I am so ready for lab shenanigans this semester. Definitely helps make them go by fast faster, and makes them way more fun. Lab can get so serious but those little laughs really make it worth it. You can meet some of your best friends in lab!

It’ll be an interesting semester for sure but it’ll be one to look forward to. It’ll be my last fall and undergrad before I hopefully make it into Vet school. Wish me luck!

... Read moreAs students enter their last year of college, it represents a significant milestone filled with anticipation and a mixture of emotions. The final semester often combines cherished traditions and fresh opportunities that make the experience memorable. For many, creating a study routine in welcoming environments like cafés can enhance focus and productivity, often paired with a comforting cup of coffee to fuel long sessions. Engaging with campus life beyond academics is equally important. Some universities offer unique hands-on experiences such as caring for school animals, which supports animal welfare initiatives and helps students develop empathy and responsibility. These interactions provide meaningful breaks from academic pressures and foster a sense of community. The changing seasons also add to the college experience, especially autumn with its colorful foliage creating a picturesque campus backdrop. Taking walks during this time not only provides relaxation but also rejuvenates the mind for upcoming challenges. Labs and group projects can be intense, but the camaraderie and lighthearted moments shared during these sessions often lead to lasting friendships. These "lab shenanigans" make rigorous coursework more enjoyable and create valuable social bonds. Finally, the last year symbolizes preparation for future ambitions. Whether aiming for graduate studies, professional schools like veterinary medicine, or entering the workforce, this period is the culmination of years of effort and growth. Students are encouraged to balance academic commitments with opportunities to enjoy their campus environment, strengthening both personal and professional development before graduation.
