How I stop comparing my body to others at the gym
Comparison kills contentment and comparing your body to anyone else's is a huge NO NO.
3 specific things I do (and have stopped doing) to ensure I am not comparing myself to others is,
1) I remind myself my body is meant to change. We go through so many different seasons of life, our bodies are always changing and developing. Stay focused on YOU and YOUR journey. No matter if it's been a 1 month or 1 year, it's special to you!
2) I remind myself that food is fuel and I allow myself to enjoy my favorite foods. It's okay to be off plan of to enjoy food that is called "unhealthy". Everything in moderation is great!
3) I wear clothes that fit me, not clothes that I fit into. Sometimes I like to wear more fitted clothing and other times I like to wear loser clothing to make sure I'm not body checking myself.
Try to follow these 3 tips and challenge yourself to stay focused on your journey!

In a world where social media often brings unrealistic body standards, it's crucial to maintain a healthy mindset towards body image. It's important to recognize that each individual goes through different life phases, and our bodies naturally evolve with time. 1. **Celebrate Your Unique Journey**: Acknowledge that your body is distinct and has its own story. Embrace your progress, whether big or small, and understand that every step of your fitness journey is valuable. Tracking personal milestones can help reinforce a positive view of your body. 2. **Nourishment over Restriction**: Shift your perspective on food from a source of guilt to a means of nourishment. Understand that enjoying food is part of a balanced life. By focusing on moderation instead of restriction, one can cultivate a healthier relationship with meals and their nutritional value. 3. **Comfort in Clothing**: Prioritize wearing clothing that enhances your comfort rather than perpetuating negative thoughts. When you choose outfits that fit well and make you feel confident, you lessen the urge to engage in negative body comparison. This shift can lead to a more empowered and positive mindset whenever you step into the gym. By applying these strategies, you can alleviate the pressure of comparison, cultivate self-love, and enjoy your fitness journey deeply and authentically.
