Top reads of the year!!

This year my goal was to read 100 books, I reached my goal and read 109 books in 2023. Out of all the books I read it was truly hard to pick but these are the tops!

In no particular order:

1. Dirty air series: throttled, collided, wrecked, and redeemed. No book in this series was bad, they all were so deep with emotions and had me crying (especially the last one!!)

Each book circles the lives of a formula one racer and their struggles. Although they have money and seem like they have it all they experience trauma all in different ways. Two of the books definitely made me cry.

2. The naturals series: the naturals, killer instinct, all in, and bad blood.

if you have seen mindhunters, this is literally that with children as profilers and it is so good!!!

If you haven’t seen that show, then this series is about children with different skill sets that make them best fit for training as fbi profilers. As the children solve cold cases they get brought in on active crime cases and help chase down serial killers while still acting 17/ 18. A must read series if you love true crime. (Probably my favorite series of 2023!!!)

3. Surrogate mother- scariest book of 2023

It’s very rare that I have a nightmare from a book…. But this one got me. This book was creepy in so many different ways. It’s scary to not be able to have a child yourself and then when you think you have found the perfect person to help you finally have your child, she wants to keep them. I couldn’t read this book at night because it was creepy. Nonetheless, this book was super good but I definitely needed a pallet cleanser after this. Freida does good with everything she writes. If you loved never lie, this is ever better!!

4. Terms and conditions- my favorite love story of 2023

This series was so good (first book was cheesy but the rest I had no complaints) and it also go with the lakefront billionaire series she just started. This book in particular, was you’re average grumpy x sunshine romance (a marriage of convenience). I don’t know if it’s because I date a stubborn butt, but I love how the feelings developed and he came out of his comfort to finally put someone other than work as a priority. Just such a beautiful story!

5. Praise- sexiest book of 2023🌶️🌶️🌶️

If you read fifty shades of grey, this is 10x better!!

This story represents individuals figuring out their kinks. It’s very sexually positive and just so hot. I don’t want to give too much away on this book but it’s not a want it’s a need.
