The ones who seem perfect are in fact not🎀🤰🚤🏕️

This is book number two and the final book in the series. ⭐️Overall rating: 4/5: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was such a good, fast paced read. I honestly love this author, but this series was such a fun read! It starts with a good hook…. Buried alive. The story flashes back and forth from being buried to what led up to that point. The girls are invited to a white glove event where they basically get hazed to show they’re worthy of being a part of this elite group. Along the way sawyer, no longer looking for her father, is now looking for the lost babies from the pregnancy pact her mother made at 17. She is then crossed with even more secret family members, a dead body, cheaters, and being drugged. I don’t want to give a lot away in this book but it was a fun quick read to get me out of a reading slump.

... Read moreOkay, so you've heard about 'Deadly Little Scandals' and might be wondering if it's truly worth diving into. Let me tell you, as someone who devoured this book, it's a wild ride from start to finish! If you're anything like me and love a book that grabs you from page one, this sequel to 'Little White Lies' delivers on all fronts, and then some. What really makes this book shine is its relentless pace. Seriously, it's one of those reads where you blink and suddenly you're 100 pages deeper. The author masterfully weaves together timelines, flashing back from a terrifying 'buried alive' scenario to the events that led up to it. This structural choice keeps you on the edge, constantly piecing together clues and trying to figure out what horrific event led to such a dire situation. Every chapter ends with a hook, making it nearly impossible to put down. The story centers around Sawyer's quest, which evolves from searching for her father to uncovering the truth behind a mysterious 'pregnancy pact' her mother was involved in years ago. This isn't just about a few secrets; we're talking layers upon layers of deep-seated 'family secrets' that unravel with each chapter. And trust me, when a 'body found' enters the picture, the stakes get even higher. You'll question everyone's motives, including who might be behind an 'attempted murder' and what their true identity is. The white glove event and hazing elements add a sinister, almost cult-like atmosphere, forcing the characters into uncomfortable situations where 'false identity' and hidden agendas are rampant. You'll meet characters who seem perfect on the surface, but as the plot thickens, their carefully constructed facades crumble, revealing the darker truths beneath. The journey is packed with unexpected betrayals, shocking revelations, and a constant sense of impending danger. Just when you think you've figured it out, the book throws an 'insane ending twist' that will leave your jaw on the floor and have you rethinking everything you thought you knew. For anyone stuck in a reading slump, this book is literary caffeine. It's the kind of thrilling page-turner that reminds you why you love reading. The blend of mystery, family drama, and suspense is perfectly balanced, making it an utterly addictive experience. If you're looking for a book that will keep you guessing until the very last page, 'Deadly Little Scandals' is an absolute must-read. Don't walk, run to pick it up – you won't regret diving into this world of secrets and suspense!
