Ok before you think the book is weird… it’s giving Mr and Mrs. smith vibes combined with Dexter.
This book starts with a serial killer, who kills the evil in the world… too bad she got herself trapped in a cage shortly after killing her latest victim. Then all of a sudden, the butcher walks in. He’s known for cutting up his victims but she never expected him to be so handsome. Both are technically serial killers, but they prey on individuals that harm others such as rapist or actual killers.
They decide there to make a challenge. They will see who can kill a terrible man quicker. This game builds their feelings for each other. Honestly when I saw this book I thought it was going to be really weird and something I couldn’t get behind, but it was hilarious and the development of the characters was amazing. Finally a good book from booktok!
