Calloway addicted series has my heart๐๐
I started off this series and wasnโt really into it after the first book. Then my friend told me to keep reading it gets so good and i am so glad I stuck with this series. The character growth and development is a masterpiece.
I started off this book realizing I had read this story but from a different POV. This is just like Kiss the Sky and HotHouse flower, where rose and daisy share their story, but in this book it is everything that happened in those two books from Lillieโs POV.
Both Lillie and lo still struggles with their addictions and lo even relapses and has to truly get his shit together if he wants his relationship to work. They struggle with their parents still and dealing with the paparazzi from all the scandals. This series has a place in my heart. For those of u asking if this has spice in it, yes and plenty. โญ๏ธOverall rating: 4/5: โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ

After diving deep into the Calloway Addicted series, I found myself completely engrossed in the tumultuous yet incredibly real journeys of Lily Calloway and Loren Hale. Itโs one thing to read about characters, but itโs another to feel their struggles so profoundly that they stick with you long after the last page. For those searching specifically for Lily Calloway, youโre in for an experience. Her strength, vulnerability, and resilience are truly at the heart of this series. What I really appreciated was seeing her growth not as a linear path, but as a messy, authentic process. From dealing with the suffocating pressures of her family and the constant glare of the paparazzi โ something that truly highlighted the 'social media backlash' mentioned in the OCR for 'Thrive' โ to battling her own addictions, Lilyโs journey is a masterclass in character development. She isn't perfect, and that's precisely what makes her so relatable and inspiring. You see her fall, but more importantly, you see her fight to stand back up, always with Loren by her side. Then thereโs Loren Hale, a character who embodies the heartbreaking reality of addiction and the arduous road to recovery. The article mentions his relapse, and let me tell you, that moment hits hard. It's not just a plot device; itโs a deep dive into the cyclical nature of addiction and the immense courage it takes to confront it. But Lo is more than his struggles; heโs fiercely protective, deeply loving, and his bond with Lily is the kind that makes you believe in soulmates. Their connection is raw, intense, and often painful, but itโs also the bedrock that helps them both navigate their darkest times. The way Krista & Becca Ritchie (as noted in the book cover OCR) craft his internal battles is just phenomenal. Reading 'Thrive,' which is explicitly from Lillie's POV โ a detail emphasized in the OCR โ truly cemented my love for this couple. It offers such an intimate look at her perspective on their shared history and her personal battles. It's in these moments that you fully grasp the weight of their world, including the unexpected turns like 'unexpected pregnancies' and the constant scrutiny. This dual perspective, especially after reading other POVs, really enriches the entire series, making you understand the nuances of their relationship and individual struggles even better. If you're looking for a series that doesn't shy away from heavy themes but also delivers incredible romance and character redemption, the Calloway Addicted series, particularly Lily and Lo's story, is a definite must-read. Their journey is a testament to enduring love, the fight for sobriety, and finding your strength amidst chaos. I promise, you won't regret sticking with them.
