OMG OMG OMG!!! It is very rare a book affects me this much, but when I tell you I had goosebumps reading this and couldn’t read it at night without nightmares… I was scared!
This book is scary because it’s so realistic. A normal guy with a good job, loving wife, and two kids is secretly a serial killer at night. He tells his wife he has meetings and then goes on dating apps to hunt his prey. He roofies women then strangles them. Once he’s murdered them he usually gets “relocated for work.”
In the story he kills three women who become ghosts trying to figure out how to stop this man, or at least figure out how to get their remains found so they can be at peace.
The story is just so good and escalates so quickly with insane twists you don’t expect. If I had to compare this to anything it would be a combo of the movie lovely bones and Ted Bundy.

Unfortunately I dnf this book. Struggled so bad to get into it. Maybe I stopped before it got good.
