This book was AMAZING!!!! I haven’t disliked a single book in this series it’s insane how amazing they all are and how obsessed with this series I am. All of the books from the windy series live rent free in my head.
Professional baseball player Isaiah Rhodes has had a massive crush on Kennedy Kay since she came on as an athletic trainer for the Windy City Warriors. Overqualified for her position, Kennedy is the only female staff which her boss doesn't let her forget. If things couldn't get worse, she finds herself in Vegas "celebrating" her stepsister's engagement to her ex-fiancé. Mistrusted and unhappy with her life, she runs into Isaiah while he's on his preseason boys trip. A couple of shots later and plastic rings exchanged, they find themselves married after a wild night in Vegas.
In fear of losing her job, Isaiah and Kennedy come up with a plan: to pretend to be married for one baseball season while she seeks out a new job opportunity. However, the more they get to know each other, the more the lines start to blur.
Kennedy may or may not start to develop a crush on her new husband.
I legit was laughing out loud and swooning at scenes this book was just beautiful. Ugh I have never wanted to reread a book before but this is one I definitely would. It was just too perfect.
