Do you remember the meme of the dress that some people saw as white and gold, while others saw it as blue and black. Well this couple took it to the extreme. The story begins with a widow, the perfect couple Everyone had thought, until the accident. Her husband died in a car accident not too long ago, and instead of being sad she feels almost crazy like she’s seeing him everywhere. See the wife didn’t like her husband. He once was a sweet man, but then he turned evil when a simple meme they had saw drove a wedge between them. He saw blue and black on the dress but when she saw white and gold he lost his mind. He started only buying her blue and black gifts. Making it a point that he thought she was stupid, so when he crashed she wasn’t upset she was free. Or so she thought. Now she’s staring at someone who looks 100% like her husband.
This was a fun and quick read. I love how she threw in her new book coming out (The Boyfriend). I also loved how it was a twist and turn kind of read. Definitely a fun read to get you out of a slump!
