Ok ok ok. I might be bias, but I loved this book. Reason for my bias is because my boyfriend’s name is Chase and his street name of where he grew up was Lovett pond. So this book felt like it was made for me. I couldn’t stop thinking of my boyfriend the whole time I read this book. He also has brown hair so that was 100% my boyfriend when I read this book idc what anyone says lol.

So this book let me tell ya about it.

Cammie has secretly had a crush on Chase, campus hockey favourite, since the beginning of the year. The only problem, he doesn't even know she exists. Until a fire in the dorms sends the floor to a hotel for the nights, they become accidental roommates (an error by the RA). Chase is enamoured immediately and doesn't know how he hasn't seen Cammie before. When Cammie realizes that Chase is interested in her, she decides to have some fun. Chase is still interested the next morning and wants to spend time with her. The problem is their lives are completely different. She's the shy nerdy wallflower, and he's the outgoing jock. He wants to try out dating, but she isn't sure how the opposites could come together.

Cammie learns to defend herself against mean girls and break out of her shell as she becomes a girlfriend of a hockey player.
