Colby McNichols, otherwise known as the baby-faced assassin, is the left wing for the Western Wildcats hockey team. All he has to do is sign his name on the dotted line and he'll play for the pros after his senior season. What l've heard from the girls on campus, who aren't shy about spilling the tea, is that he's totally earned his reputation.

And then some.

It's just one of the reasons I choose to steer clear.

Trust me when I say that my life is complicated enough without getting tangled up with a player.

For reasons I can't fathom, Colby has decided to insert himself in my life. Everywhere I go, there he is. Which makes holding him at a distance nearly impossible. He might be smoking hot but there's zero point in starting something with this guy. Especially since I can't be honest about who I am.

Unfortunately, a weekend spent in Vegas changes everything.

Turns out that our friends weren't the only ones who tied the knot in Sin City.

I can only hope that what they say is true-what happens in Vegas stays there.

Because if it doesn't...

I'm screwed.

And not in a good way.

I've been DYING for Mavericks book especially after loving his parents book and his sisters and to no one's surprise.. I LOVED it. When we catch up with Mav, he is in the middle of a hockey game against one of his biggest rivals, River Thompson, when he notices a girl in the stands that he can't look away from.

Even seeing her in his rivals jersey, he won't let that deter him and when the opportunity comes up to approach her, he takes it. Little does he know, Willow is not dating River, she is his twin sister. Willow knows that she shouldn't get caught up in the attraction she feels towards Maverick, knowing the history with her brother, but she can't deny him one night.

Willow decided to transfer to Western to get away from her family to be able to stand on her own. Willow had some medical issues and while her family loves her, she can't help but feel a little suffocated by their hovering. She just wants to be treated like a normal girl and she gets that from Mav and his friends who try to welcome her in.

Maverick is struggling with his grades and when he is assigned a tutor, he sees the girl that has been constantly on his mind.. he goes after her, hard. He knows the connection between them is special and refuses to stop until she admits it.

There's a reason for that.

My father is Reed Philips, head coach for the Western Wildcats. The number one rule in our house has always been that I keep a healthy distance from his players.

That's never been a problem.

And it's not necessarily one now.

This series is to die for I literally read all of these in one weekend and was obsessed.
