Man of the Year? A genius? Or a monster?

Natalie's best friend leaves the dance club with a handsome stranger and is found unconscious at a bus stop the next morning. What happened that night?

Only Natalie's friend knows-except she's in the hospital, in a coma...

When Natalie sees a handsome man on the cover of a financial magazine, she recognizes the "Man of the Year"—the stranger her friend left the club with.

He is a millionaire. He is famous. He is untouchable.

And-Natalie suspects-dangerous. Desperate for answers, she takes a job as a housekeeper at his mansion.

Her plan is simple. Get close to him, watch his every move, gather evidence, and make him pay.

Except something's not right about the mansion.

Strange rules, hostile treatment from the staff, and an eerie feeling that she's being watched and followed home. And what exactly happened to the previous housekeeper who went missing?

Natalie thought she was setting a trap. But the day she discovers the shocking truth about the "Man of the Year," she realizes she might have walked straight into his.

My review:

This book had me on edge like when I was reading the housemaid by Freida. I wanted this girl to get revenge for her friend the entire time and I sat on the edge of my seat watching her do it. The twist that comes in this book is so insane it actually had my jaw on the floor.

Bravo a must read loved and devoured this book!

... Read moreThe novel masterfully blends suspense and psychological intrigue, capturing readers who enjoy intense thrillers with unexpected twists. Central to the story is Natalie’s determined quest for justice, which drives her deep into the enigmatic world of the infamous 'Man of the Year'—a character whose public persona as a millionaire and celebrated figure sharply contrasts with the sinister reality she uncovers. Readers interested in thrillers featuring complex characters and dark secrets will appreciate the exploration of power dynamics within the mansion setting. Strange rules and hostile attitudes from the staff create an atmosphere charged with tension and mistrust, while the mystery of the missing previous housekeeper adds an additional layer of suspense. Themes of deception, revenge, and moral ambiguity are prevalent throughout the book, inviting reflection on how public fame can mask dangerous intentions. Natalie’s infiltration as a housekeeper exemplifies classic thriller motifs, revealing how appearances often deceive and how the pursuit of truth requires courage and resilience. This story is an excellent recommendation for fans of psychological thrillers and novels similar to "The Housemaid" by Freida, as highlighted in the user review. The jaw-dropping twists and intense narrative pacing keep readers on edge, making it a must-read for anyone seeking a compelling and thought-provoking thriller. Including keywords from the OCR text, such as 'Man of the Year,' 'monster,' 'genius,' and 'Iliana Xander,' enriches the discussion, suggesting a layered characterization where the titular figure's true nature is ambiguous and central to the plot’s suspense. The mention of Iliana Xander could indicate either a key character or thematic element, adding depth to the story’s mysteries.
