As a huge fan of themed collaborations and, of course, delicious desserts, I couldn't resist checking out the Denny's Beetlejuice menu, particularly the 'Say It Three Times Slam' offerings. Living in Houston, I was eager to see what this spooky season crossover had in store. My main target was the much-talked-about Cookies N Cream Shake, which sounded like a dream for anyone who loves an Oreo milkshake. Let me tell you, the Cookies N Cream Shake truly lived up to the hype! From the first sip, it was clear this was a winner. It was incredibly thick, creamy, and packed with that classic chocolate sandwich cookie flavor. You could taste the generous chunks of cookies blended perfectly into the frosty goodness. It definitely felt like it delivered on the promise of 'three times the flavor' compared to a regular shake. However, the rest of my 'Say It Three Times Slam' experience, specifically the pancakes, was a bit of a letdown. After the incredible high of the shake, I had high hopes for the food. They didn't really capture any of the fun, spooky essence of the Beetlejuice theme either, which was a missed opportunity. Overall, if you're in Houston and curious about the Denny's Beetlejuice collaboration, I'd highly recommend going straight for the Cookies N Cream Shake. It's a fantastic take on an Oreo milkshake and a truly delicious treat. As for the rest of the 'Say It Three Times Slam' menu, based on my pancake experience, you might want to adjust your expectations or perhaps stick to other classic Denny's menu items that you know and love. It's a fun limited-time offering, but some elements shine brighter than others.
