look at the sticker i out in my macbook

ive had this MacBook since 2018, and over the years, I've personalized it with various stickers and decals. I always assumed they were just stuck to the outer casing and could be easily removed. But oh boy, was I wrong...

When I attempted to peel off those old stickers today, I was horrified to discover permanent, etched-in marks and discoloration on the actual MacBook body underneath. 😭 Those stickers had essentially become one with the aluminum over time, leaving behind unsightly blemishes that cannot be removed or covered up.

From 2018 to now in 2024, I've been carrying around this marred MacBook, completely oblivious to the damage I was causing with my ""harmless"" decorations. I'm honestly speechless and incredibly disappointed in myself for not being more careful with my precious Apple product.

Friends, I'm begging you – NEVER put stickers or decals directly on your MacBooks or any other Apple devices! What might seem like a fun way to express yourself can ultimately lead to permanent, irreversible damage to that sleek aluminum chassis we all admire. 😩

So here I am, with an embarrassingly sticker-scarred MacBook that I can't do anything about. Is there seriously no way to remove or conceal these awful markings? Or am I destined to bite the bullet and finally upgrade, just to spare myself (and others) from this ugliness? I'd really appreciate any tips or advice from folks who have been through a similar ordeal. Please, help a remorseful Apple fan out! 🙏
