3-day weekends or remote forever?? 🖥️🍹

Ok real question: would you rather have a 3-day weekend every week but still go into the office… OR work fully remote forever but keep the 5-day grind?

I keep going back and forth. 3-day weekends sound amazing, but rolling out of bed and working in sweats forever?? Tempting.

Which one are you picking?

Having a 3-day weekend means you get an extra day off every week to relax, pursue hobbies, or spend time with loved ones. While it usually requires still commuting to an office for the remaining days, the extended weekend can significantly improve mental health and reduce burnout. Many workplaces adopting this approach report increased employee happiness and even improved focus during the workdays. On the other hand, working fully remote forever lets you ditch the commute entirely and enjoy the comfort of home. You can work in casual clothes, personalize your workspace, and often have more flexibility during the day. However, the traditional 5-day grind continues, which may feel repetitive and might affect work-life boundaries if not managed carefully. In making this choice, consider factors like your personality, home setup, discipline, and social needs. Some people thrive with clear separation between work and personal life offered by an office environment, while others prefer the autonomy remote work brings. Ultimately, the debate between a 3-day weekend with office presence and permanently remote work highlights evolving work culture trends. Hybrid models and flexible scheduling are increasingly popular, letting individuals tailor their work style. What’s your pick: the rejuvenating vibe of a 3-day weekend office routine or the empowerment and comfort of remote work? Both options have their perks, and reflecting on your priorities can guide your choice.

I would rather have the 3-day weekend, mainly because I have such a hard time focusing at home and I know I would not be productive there. 😂 Maybe if I went to a coffee shop or library, but at that point I’m already having to get up and dressed to go somewhere
