Crushing on my neighbor

I’m a senior in college and live in the dorms. My neighbor across the hall is tall, handsome… and has a cat who always meows when he leaves.

A couple weeks back, I slipped a card under his door to introduce myself. He replied the next day, and we exchanged our majors + the cat’s name. That was it.

Recently, I bought cat treats at the store and left them by his door. Later, he came by to thank me, invited me to meet the cat, and we chatted for a bit. She’s adorable, and honestly so is he.

Here’s the thing: I have a huge crush on him but I don’t know how to move forward. I don’t even know if he has a girlfriend. Should I just keep being friendly and see where it goes, or shoot my shot?
