Everyone meet Coe

1. ABSOLUTELY NO TABLE FOOD. For one not all table food is good for dogs and I’m not spending a bunch of money on dogfood just to give him human food. For two this promotes begging and I will not have a dog begging for food when guest are over. Me and my boyfriend eat our food in front of him and he never questions it he just lays on his bed.

2. He is crate trained! It is his safe space he loves his crate!

3. Prong collar. We do use a prong collar but I did a ton of research before getting one and before putting it on him. He walks so much better now no more pulling. He even gets excited to go out to walk when he sees it!

4. We will be getting him an e collar! We go hunting a lot and want to take him to the cabin with us! I have done a bunch of research with this to and it is only for his safety! I do not want to shock him and that would be my very last option however if it is necessary for his safety I will!

He is still a puppy his is only 5 month old and is still learning however he is already big enough that if I allowed him to do something’s it could hurt him or me!

Avoid giving table scraps, as this helps prevent begging behaviors, ensuring your pup remains focused on their dog food during meal times. Crate training is another critical aspect. Creating a safe space for your puppy in their crate can help reduce anxiety and promote a sense of security. Make sure your puppy associates the crate with positive experiences. Furthermore, utilizing a prong collar can significantly improve walking behavior. With proper research and use, it aids in controlling pulling tendencies, making walks enjoyable for both you and your puppy. Additionally, if you're planning on outdoor adventures like hunting, consider investing in an e-collar. This can enhance safety and ensure your puppy learns recall. Finally, remember that at just 5 months old, your puppy is still learning. Be patient and consistent with training, and adjust your methods to suit your dog's developing personality and energy level. Regularly engaging in positive reinforcements during training sessions will help foster a solid foundation for a well-mannered dog.
