That is the nagashi somen experience you can enjoy at Kibune's long-established ryokan "Hirobun ✨
The riverbed seat at the most upstream of the Kibune River is a special seat where you can see the natural waterfall in front of you!
Somen noodles that you can feel the cool breeze while being surrounded by the sounds of nature are truly exceptional.
When you take a seat, there is a bamboo lane for each group, and somen noodles flow there.
Moreover, at the end, red plum-flavored somen noodles flow and it ends.
If you miss this red somen, it might be a little frustrating...?
Somen is tightly sealed with cold water and served in a special bamboo bowl.
The appearance is also tasteful, and the mouth is full of summer coolness...!

私が行く前にいちばん気になったのが「ひろ文の流しそうめん、整理券って何時から？どれくらい待つ？」というところでした。結論、日によって混雑が大きく変わるので、“早め行動＋時間つぶしプラン”を用意しておくのが安心です。 まず整理券（順番待ち）は予約ではないので、現地に着いたら案内に従って受付→呼び出し待ち、という流れ。お昼に近づくほど混みやすい印象なので、私ならできるだけ午前中の早い時間に貴船エリアへ入る計画を組みます。特に夏休み・土日祝は1時間以上待つ想定で動くと気持ちがラクでした。 待ち時間の過ごし方も事前に決めておくのがおすすめ。ひろ文は呼ばれるまで川の上で涼める畳スペースがあるのが救いで、暑い京都市内から来ると体感温度が全然違います。さらに時間があるなら、貴船神社へお参り→周辺を散歩して戻る、というルートにすると「待ったけど充実した日」になりやすいです。 当日チェックしたいのは天気。雨天や増水、警報が出ると中止になることがあるので、行く前に天気予報と現地の状況を確認しておくと安心です。せっかく行って食べられないのはショックなので、予備日を作るか、近くのカフェ・ごはん候補を1つ入れておくとリカバリーしやすいです。 アクセス面は「駐車場なし」なので、公共交通機関推奨。叡山電鉄の貴船口駅から歩けますが、暑い日は体力を削られがちなので、歩く前提なら飲み物と歩きやすい靴は必須です。帰りの時間も読みにくいので、次の予定は詰め込みすぎないのが◎。 最後に、ひろ文の“終わりの合図”として流れてくる赤い梅風味のそうめんは見逃し注意。これが来ると「もう終わりなんだ…！」ってなるので、スタートからテンポよく取るのがコツでした。9月末までの限定シーズンに行けるなら、京都の夏の風物詩として一度は体験する価値ありです。
