My Favorite Miami Spots 🌴☀️

I recently went on a work trip to Miami and I had such a fun time exploring the area. From shopping to food to coffee - I found some really cool spots (most of them, were surprisingly empty!) Check out a few of the most notable spots that you must visit while in MIA. 🌴

✨ Best Brunch Spot: Pura Vida - such a vibe and delicious food (including tasty vegan and gluten free options!)

✨ Most Asthetic Coffee Spot: Cortadito Coffee House Coral Gables -

✨ Best Taco Joint: La Diosa taqueria calle 8 - literally a hole in the wall but the best tacos and drinks! Bonus: that neon sign was so cute. It was empty when we went so no need to worry about crowds!

✨ Most Instaworthy Beach Spot: South Beach - if you can only do one touristy thing, you need to 100% visit south beach. From the turquoise waters to the art deco architecture

✨ Best Pool Vibes: The Betsy Hotel - the Betsy is hands down one of the best hotels I’ve visited. It literally is like an art museum inside plus they have a hidden pool oasis and a stunning rooftop pool!

✨Best Local Coffee Spot: Shepherd Artisan Coffee - tasty and affordable, what more could you ask for? This place was PACKED and I totally get why! The coffee was fresh, perfectly sweetened, and the croissants were decadent and rich!

... Read moreAfter sharing my initial Miami finds, many of you reached out asking for more details, especially about those amazing coffee spots I mentioned! It seems like Cortadito Coffee House and Shepherd Artisan Coffee really caught your eye, and I totally get why. So, let's dive deeper into what makes these places must-visit spots and answer some of your burning questions. First up, let's talk about Cortadito Coffee House Coral Gables. I saw a few of you searching for "cafe cortadito reservations." Here's the scoop: Cortadito is typically a casual coffee house and doesn't usually take reservations. It's more of a walk-in, grab-a-spot kind of place, perfect for a quick, authentic Cuban coffee fix or a relaxed chat. If you're worried about crowds, especially on weekends, I'd suggest trying to visit a bit earlier in the morning. Their Coral Gables location has a lovely aesthetic that's perfect for photos, and while it can get busy, the turnover is usually pretty quick. What truly makes it special, beyond the cute neon sign that declares "FROM CUBA, WITH COFFEE," is the coffee itself. Their cortadito is a masterpiece – a small, strong, and perfectly sweetened espresso shot with steamed milk. It's the ultimate pick-me-up and a true taste of Miami's Cuban heritage. Don't be shy; try it the traditional way! Parking can sometimes be a bit tricky in Coral Gables, so consider ride-sharing or public transport if you're exploring the area. Next, let's chat about Shepherd Artisan Coffee Miami. This place was absolutely packed when I visited, and for good reason! Many of you were searching for specifics about this spot, and I'm here to tell you it lives up to the hype. What makes it so popular? It's a combination of exceptional quality and surprisingly affordable prices, which is a rare find in Miami. The coffee here is truly artisan – fresh, expertly brewed, and they often feature different single-origin beans. The baristas are super knowledgeable and passionate, so don't hesitate to ask for recommendations if you're unsure what to try. Beyond the fantastic coffee, their pastries are a huge draw. I raved about the croissants being decadent and rich, and I stand by that! They're flaky, buttery, and the perfect companion to your brew. Shepherd Artisan Coffee has a wonderful local vibe; it feels like a true community hub where people come to work, socialize, or just enjoy a quiet moment with a great cup of joe. If you're looking to avoid the busiest times, try weekdays during off-peak hours (mid-morning or mid-afternoon). It's a place where you can genuinely taste the care and craft in every sip and bite. I hope these extra insights help you plan your coffee adventures in Miami! Both Cortadito and Shepherd Artisan offer unique experiences that are well worth seeking out.
